  • Join our Global Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Team! Alorica’s Strategic Sourcing team is seen as a welcome partner by internal business units, playing a critical role in securing a competitive advantage in the marketplace. We currently have an opportunity to lead collaborative strategic sourcing and procurement efforts in support of cost reduction goals by defining and identifying best-in-class sourcing strategies and procurement processes. This is a fast-paced department that will give an individual the ability to build a career path in a solid, growing worldwide organization.

    • Responsible for leading Strategic Sourcing efforts encompassing approximately $100M in annual non-

    inventory spend

    • Leads the identification and execution of projects to support the goals of Strategic Sourcing Procurement

    • Demonstrates financial analysis skills including the ability to assess supplier proposals and understanding

    of supplier cost structure

    • Manages RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes and requirements

    • Develops and executes negotiation strategy

    • Demonstrates project management skills including the ability to assess required resources and critical

    path timeline

    • Analyzes supplier proposals and implements new supplier agreements

    • Analyzes the supply markets (researches and identifies potential qualified suppliers, researches industry

    cost/price drivers develops requests for proposals)

    • Provides project management and cross-functional team leadership for sourcing initiatives

    • Makes recommendations, gains agreement, and implements solutions on behalf of a diverse

    organization

    • Ensures the consistent use of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement methodology

    • Other responsibilities may include oversight or accountability of non-inventory procurement policies;

    contract management; procurement training; Oracle database configuration, maintenance, and testing;

    capital and operating expense budget forecasting and analysis; departmental IT requirements; and

    administrative support for procurement organization activities

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    • BA/BS degree; Supply Chain Management or related preferred

    • 3-5 years business experience in procurement, buying, purchasing, strategic sourcing, and/or commodities

    required or Minimum 3 years’ experience in supplier management, contract management, Key

    Performance Indicator tracking, and financial analysis

    o Minimum 2 years’ experience sourcing/procurement in IT commodity categories

    • Experience managing sourcing/procurement or related projects from start to finish

    • RFI, RFQ, RFP, and/or bid analysis experience required

    • A moderate to complex level of knowledge in: o Spreadsheets - Excel – Ability to perform complex financial

    analyses, write macros, develop formulas and use functions such as pivot and lookup tables or Word

    Processing - MS Word - Ability to draft contractual agreements and other documents suitable for

    presentation to intermediate and senior-level internal associates.

    • A moderate to complex level of financial analysis knowledge. Moderately complex modeling and problem-

    solving skills

    • Experience in negotiating pricing, purchase contract terms, and conditions (including statements of work

    (SOWs) a plus)

    • Ability to assess suppliers against their contractual commitments and develop performance improvement

    plans for those not meeting commitments

    • Familiarity with working in a high-volume, highly dynamic, rapid-paced environment

    • Ability to lead a cross-functional team

    • Ability to work under moderate supervision and guidance at a consistent pace

    • Change management skills

    • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
